How I Work
I offer confidential face to face and online counselling and psychotherapy for individuals (over 16) and couples and I work in an integrative way. This means that I am able to draw upon ideas from several schools of thought which include psychoanlaytical, psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential philosophies.

Short and long term options are available and we will work together to determine the amount of time you may need to explore your issues.
Previously I have worked in business  as a senior executive and understand how stress and work pressures affect our well being.

The first consultation
This will give us an opportunity to meet and for you to ask any questions you would like. Many people find that this allows them the space to ask about anything that matters to them. I aim to be non-judgemental and welcoming as it is important we develop a trusting professional relationship in a safe environment.

I will treat what you tell me as confidential as far as the law and ethical guidelines of the British Association for counselling and Psychotherapy allow.

Working together
If we agree to meet regularly each session lasts 50 minutes. Sessions are usually weekly.  For more information including address and contact details see contact me.

About Me
My training has been founded on a belief in the importance of the individual and our unique experience of the world.

It has covered several schools of thought including psychoanalysis, humanistic, existential and post existential ideas. My integrative approach helps me to strive to see the implications of the various theories for each person and how they may help shed light on a situation or issue.
